Overview

Mise is a recipe keeper and weekly meal planner. This page describes, in plain terms, what data the app handles and the choices you have. It is a pre-launch draft and will be finalized before Mise is available to download.

Data we store

The recipes you capture, your weekly menus, and your grocery lists are stored on your device. If you choose to sync across devices, a copy is kept on our backend so it can reach your other devices. Recipe images you add are stored alongside them.

• Recipes, menus and grocery lists you create or import.
• Optional recipe photos.
• Basic account details if you sign in (see below).
• If you join a waitlist, the email address you submit.

Sync & accounts

You can use Mise without an account — capture, planning and grocery lists all work locally. Signing in (with Sign in with Apple or an email code) is only needed to sync your library across devices. Authentication tokens are kept securely on your device.

Your choices

You can use the app without signing in, delete recipes and lists at any time, and request deletion of any synced data tied to your account. Details on how to make these requests will be finalized here before launch.
